This vintage brass binnacle floating compass is a unique and rare find for any maritime antique collector. The primary material used in its construction is brass, and it features a viewing oil lamp that adds to its aesthetic appeal. The compass is accompanied by a binnacle, which was used to stabilize the compass and prevent any interference from magnetic fields. This antique piece is perfect for any collector interested in maritime history and will make a great addition to any collection.

There is a label inside the door for the lamp that says it came off the Lifeboat "Ambassador" from the Cunard Line. Not sure how accurate that is. Overall it's in nice vintage conditions. Has heavy tarnishing to brass and small dent on top. Overall, it's a nice piece ready for it's new home.
