Ignition leads or cables carry the High Tension Voltage from the ignition coil that is required for the spark plugs to ignite the air/fuel mixture.
It's important that the HT Voltage is not allowed to escape before reaching the spark plugs. Faulty ignition leads, due to perished, torn or chaffed cable insulation and dirty cable connectors are common causes of rough running, misfires, high fuel consumption and MOT emissions failures.
It's recommended that the condition of your car's ignition leads is checked at regular intervals and you might consider replacing them every 40,000-60,000 mileS.

is on 24/48-hour service except orders to Northern Ireland and Aberdeenshire
which will be posted through royal mail, this is for Monday to Friday orders
before 3pm any orders after 3pm will be dispatched the next working day.
Royal Mail / Parcelforce parcels will be sent on a 48-hour
service which can take 3-10 days.
APC Parcels Arrive Next Day 24/48 Depending on location and
time.
Any orders after 3pm on a Friday will be dispatched on next
working day (Monday if its not a bank holiday)
Weekend orders will be dispatched on the following working
day.
