1900 NORWAY 25 ORECOIN......KM # 360

ANACS began grading foriegn coins in 1979.  This coin was submitted in 1980 through a local coin dealer.  My go to grading is NGC but at that time NGC DID NOT grade foriegn coins. 

The coin dealer who submitted the coin was sure this would be a MS60 return and was disappointed in a number of factors. 

1. LOW GRADE

2. MISPELLING OF ORE WHICH IS "OR"

3. CRACKED SLAB

4. SURFACE SCRATCHWS ON SLAB

ANACS refused to correct these issues and only have 2 foriegn coins so didn't care at the time. 

Took maximum amount of photos to show the condition of coin.  Normal camera photos to as close as possible....magnification was 10x.  FIRST TWO PHOTOS OF COIN WERE IN SUN LIGHT....THE OTHER PHOTOS OF COIN IN NATRUAL LIGHT.....Last photos show the 1/2 Inch scratch on the SLAB, not a 1/2 Inch scratch on the coin.  Also showing the Crack on the side of the slab.
