Yoga Tune Up Fitness Jill Miller Massage Therapy Balls Stress Trigger Point

The Roll Model® Starter Kit is the ideal companion to The Roll Model book by Jill Miller.  This kit includes 1 pair of Roll Model® Therapy Balls in Tote (approx. 6.3cm/2.5” in diameter), 1 pair of Therapy Ball PLUS in Tote (approx. 7cm/2.75” in diameter), and 1 ALPHA Ball (approx. 9cm/3.5” in diameter, all packed in a mesh shoulder carry tote. Inside the tote is a convenient zipper pocket for cash, credit cards, cell phone (or your Coregeous Ball plug and straw!). Tote is roomy enough for the massage therapy balls and maybe a jump rope and resistance bands, yet small enough when filled to throw into your suitcase or gym bag for travel.

YTU balls are made of a special rubber that grips at your skin, grabs at multiple layers of muscles, and rubs out adhesions and tension, providing a deep tissue massage.

This original complete set includes:

1x Alpha single ball

1x original twin set in tote

1x YTU Plus twin set in tote

1x mesh carry bag

Condition is used. See photos for how the balls look outside of the bag.

Even with wear they function perfectly.

Of course you can use the original YTU Therapy balls. However the ALPHA is perfect for those bony areas and larger muscle mass areas such as the shoulder scapula, QL, pecs, buttocks, and hips. With the same grippiness and pliability as original YTU Therapy Balls, except larger.  The size provides a different stimulus for your tissues and can be used interchangeably with the original YTU Balls. The larger ball grabs a hold of more area at once, so it actually minimize the trigger point specificity but feels good in a different way as it reaches deeper around the bones. Larger massed individuals may also prefer the larger ball. - See more at: http://www.wodnut.com/ytu-alpha-ball.html#sthash.bWWvU4Np.dpuf
About the Yoga Tune Up Therapy Balls:
These rubber balls are designed specifically for massage - they are grippy enabling the ball to take a hold of your skin and the underlying superficial fascia and slide and transition it over the deeper fascia and muscles beneath.  The softness and pliability of the rubber yields around bony prominences, nuzzling around joints and grabbing the delicate tissues surrounding them - which a foam roller cannot do.  They are also a lot more portable than most foam rollers!  Tennis balls are a great starting point, but for serious massage students, you'll love the pliability and grip of these purposely designed balls.
