2 vintage decks of Nelson Lines steamships playing cards.

Nelson Lines was formed in 1880 for the meat trade from Argentina to UK.
They commenced passenger service in 1910.
In 1913 they merged with the Royal Mail Steam Packet Company.

Both have hand written inscriptions on the boxes, one says McLeod, the other Alcock.

The bigger, made by Darling & Son, missing the Joker.

The smaller Made in France with the inscription W.E.Williams, London.

Both in excellent condition.
