Salvador Ibanez (1854-1920) was born in Valencia, Spain. He became an apprentice in guitar making from around the age of 11 and founded his own company in 1870. He made not only guitars but also various stringed instruments such as lutes and multi-string guitars. In 1897, he created what is said to be the world's first double neck guitar. Around 1900, he had grown to employ around 100 craftsmen. The fact that there are still many guitar workshops in Valencia today is said to be one of the achievements of Salvador Ibanez.

The great guitar player Julian Bream also loved Salvador's guitars. He also owns several Eric Clapton watches, one of which sold at auction in 1999 for $42,000.

After Salvador Ibanez's death in 1920, his two sons Vicente and Salvador took over his workshop, which was sold to Telesforo Fulbe in 1933.

The items that have arrived this time are labeled as Salvador Ibanez Ehos. These are works from the period from 1920, after the death of his father Salvador Ibanez, until 1933, when the workshop was sold.

The top plate has been repainted, and the gorgeous rosette, binding, and head decoration make this a masterpiece with a beautiful appearance.

The thread spool has been replaced with one made by GOTOH.
