This auction is for a Two-Volume French translation of "La Pharsale de Lucian" by Marcus Annaeus Lucanus. Translated by M. Marmontel. This version published in Paris in 1766. With 10 engraved plates. Contemporary mottled calf, raised bands, morocco spine labels, sections tooled in gilt, all edges professionally stained. Faults listed above, otherwise generally clean pages good binding.
