This is for an original 1947 Willie Comics #7 which was an early Marvel Publication. The title started out as Ideal Comics and lasted for 4 issues when Willie Comics would take over the numbering with issue #5. Willie Comics would last for 15 issues with #19 being the last issue. The title would then become Lil Willie Comics for issues 20 and 21 before returning to Willie Comics for issues 22 and 23. The title would then shift to Crime Cases Comics resuming the numbering from 24 through 27 before taking over its own numbering with 5 through 12. Now that you have that ridiculous bit of history, this book is an early Marvel publication with the one and only Stan Lee acting and listed as the managing art editor. Some good girl art with a Tessie the Typist story along with Trouble at the Dance. One of the real firsts in this book is a one page “Hey Look” comic story with both the story and art done by the legend himself, Harvey Kurtzman. Lee had offered the young Kurtzman the job of one page filler strips for most of the Timely Comics between 1946 and 1949. It was Lee himself that gave the page its title of Hey Look.  The book itself is in great condition with the only major issue being the shadowing on the back cover. I am not a comic grader but this book sure looks and displays great. A great book to have for someone starting a Golden Age collection.
