This Pastel is a very busy marble with a lot of stuff going on. The entire surface area is covered with no boring spots or sides. Everywhere something is happening...and it is all good. This family of Pastels are exceptional specimens of this what JABO masters can do with their craft. These Pastels are quite beautiful IMHO because they contain a wide spectrum of the rainbow colors. Anyway, the surface quality on these babies is superior to more than half the other JABO runs. For whatever reason, everything seemed to go right with this marble run. Good for us, right?

I see quite a few base glass colors in all the swirls, but the most interesting by far is that Cobalt blue that pops with a high color saturation. The cobalt blue glass has a richness and hue that far surpasses many other blue shades...it is just so rich looking. The other colors I see in the base glass are baby blue, oxblood and ivory. In addition, there is a generous amount of confetti glass that is sprinkled around and creates a spectacular guinea marble. The major confetti colors are yellow and blue...same as the Ukrainian flag colors. Lastly, the gold lutz sprinkles on this Pastel marble adds a little more pop and sizzle that we all love. These Pastels have become some of the more desirable JABO marbles due to the vivid colors and consistent surface quality. 

 I try to rotate my marbles and provide high resolution pictures with my DSLR camera and flash. The flash on my Canon Rebel camera is built-in, so no additional lighting is used. This allows all the fine details to be seen as clear as possible. This marble was made on the 3/4" machine and measures 0.727" in diameter.
