The opal is classified as black with a B4 brightness and N3 body tone rating that will knock your socks off! She definitely is a performing gemstone with her blue base and searing hot pinkish-red fire sweeping back and forth along with blue, green, purple, gold and salmon peach fire. The fire patterns are crazy warm and the gemstone is 'alive' with light. Most of our pictures were taken in direct sunlight but some in a cool room as well. The opal is 2.79c and measures in at 15mm by 9mm. Along the side are a line of five brilliant white faceted diamonds that wink and twinkle with a happy sparkling frenzy.
