This beautiful antique serving set from Henry Kohn & Sons is a true gem for any collector or lover of Victorian style. Crafted from sterling silver, this set includes a fork and spoon and bears the hallmark of the renowned Hartford, CT silversmiths. The intricate pattern, dating back to -1892  adds a touch of elegance to any table setting. Whether for special occasions or everyday use, this set is sure to impress. Henry Kohn,  born in Austria,  moved to America in 1865 at 26. After settling in Hartford CT, he started his jewelry business and like many jewelers of the time,  he also advertised for sale household items such as silverware,  canes, umbrellas,  opera glasses,  china , cut glass as well as clocks. The business expanded and by 1892, 2 sons joined him,  thus HenryKohn & Sons. Eventually his 2 other sons joined the business until it  was sold. The set measures approximately 8.75" in length and 2.75" wide at the widest point.
