The AC1 is a minimalist plate carrier that has the ability to scale to an individual’s needs. It comes ready to roll out of the box in its slick configuration with an elastic cummerbund and low-profile shoulder pads. The AC1 also comes with two ITW QASM buckles for attaching most standard placards and some chest rigs.

Made in partnership with Esstac, this is our 556 KYWI Placard which is designed to hold three 223/556 magazines and attach to plate carriers via buckles and/or hook and loop. Utilizing a hybrid Kydex and nylon design, you get all the rigidity you expect from a Kydex pouch with the lack of noise you want from a nylon pouch. These pouches feature Esstac’s Kydex wedge insert (KYWI), which provides the needed retention to secure your magazines without the need for a bungee cord. This will also accommodate 5.45×39 magazines.
