Beautiful, highly decorative olla by this master potter. This is a difficult shape to create free-hand, so it is not absolutely perfectly symmetrical, and it also features a few minor imperfections (e.g., a tiny glaze slip, a couple tiny scratches - see collage in pic #8). Also, the artist chose to not put a flat bottom to this olla, but it is very stable despite that. 

Signed on the bottom.

Superficial crazing at close inspection and a couple glaze cracks (could be stress cracks from cooling or firing; there is always stress in clay as it shrinks during drying, and it also expands / contracts during firing) -  captured in the pics as well, and reflected in price.

Vase measures approximately 11" Widest Diameter x 6.5"High and weighs 4lbs.
