She was beatified in 1923 and Canonized in 1925. Pope Pius XI had placed his pontificate under the sign of Saint Thérèse. As she had predicted before she had died, she had become beloved around the world.A basilica for her was started in Lisieux in 1929. By 1932, the time of the conference of this poster, enough of it was finished, including the nave and the crypt, to hold a Catholic Congress there.
