3D Printed Wall mount designed for the Amazon Kindle Fire HD10, 13th Generation tablet released in 2023. Primarily intended as a dashboard for home automation systems such as Home Assistant, SmarThings (using ActionTiles) or displaying the Amazon Home device dashboard.
Designed to use a readily available 90 degree USB-C Cable (UGREEN) and hide the cable from view.
A spacer allows the tablet to 'float' away from the wall, while allowing the USB cable to enter a wall box, completely hidden from view. The spacing also allows the charging cable to run down the wall in some surface mounted conduit (trunking) if required
Mounting holes are provided for direct attachment to both UK (60mm hole spacing) and US (83.34mm hole spacing) single back boxes with additional mounting holes for screwing directly to a wall if needed.
It is also possible to glue the spacer to the rear tablet frame and use command strips for less invasive method of wall mounting.
There is also an extension to the power button, allowing the tablet to be shut down/restarted while in the mount.
Tablet can be mounted in landscape or portrait orientation.
Dimensions (assembled frame): Height: 192.7mm | Width: 274.2mm | Depth: 13.5mm | Spacer Thickness: 5mm

NOTES ON COLOURS & FINISHES
The front frame and power switch
will be printed in your chosen colour. The remaining parts (rear frame and
spacer) will either be printed in your chosen colour or using Natural
(uncoloured) filament depending on printer availability. This has no bearing on
the outward appearance as the spacer and rear frame are not visible when the
wall mount is assembled.
We print
the front frames on a textured bed which results in a light stippled texturing
of the front surface. This helps to break up any visible extrusion lines on the
surfaces and produces a very presentable finish. The nature of 3D printing does
mean lines may be visible under certain lighting conditions/angles. There may
also be very small imperfections on the side surfaces but these will be
extremely difficult to see at normal viewing distances.
We go to
great lengths to produce presentable 3D printed products and do not dispatch
anything we would not be happy to place on our own wall.
If you
have particularly exacting standards, you can apply paint finishes to the frames
to match your décor. Some hand sanding and filling may be required.
DO NOT USE POWER SANDERS – YOU WILL MELT THE SURFACE OF THE 3D PRINT!
