An antique zinc lined military chest with original authentic luggage labels, carefully restored & hand-finished in our Lincolnshire workshop.

This old WW1 storage trunk has an attractive patina with industrial styling.
Featuring -
- Inlaid polished ply and pine lid with charcoal distressed painted sides
- Robust steel reinforcings
- Central brass fastening and twin brass escutcheons
- Two working locks with original key
- Original luggage labels from: Luxor, Marseille, Boulogne and South-East Africa
- Three base runners
- Two steel chest handles
- Fully intact zinc lining.
The heritage finish on this trunk includes shrinkage gaps. The central brass catch is missing its locking part and the front handle is without its grab. There are three wooden base runners with integral castors which are seized.
