The fierce blurring of colors.
The longhouse tribal dance is haunting.

We believe this was made to capture a 'snapshot of movement' translating from a First Nations Dance, into a gemstone ring.

First off, it is an indigenous blending of colors and gemstone that, when you look closely you have to wonder how everything goes together but somehow, the artist knew. It looks so artful, and powerful! It's a VERY nice piece. Solid too, nice weight at 7 grams and about 17mm wide (between half and inch and 3/4") set in sterling silver 925. The gemstones are in a weaved pattern, made for a cloak and have a movement of color from the far regions in darkest blue lapis, sky blue turquoise, mother of pearl, malachite, onyx, ox blood red carnelian, maze stone and black opal. There are three black opals and three blood red symbols right down the middle. We don't know what this means... perhaps someone out there knows?

The under girth is smooth and feels like a relic. Like a well-worn buffalo head nickel.

In any event, this ring is one of two that we have, the other is a size 10, this is a size 11. They are almost identical to each other but because they are handmade, they vary slightly from each other.

Set in a smooth, worn-down sterling silver 925 with a superb aged patina.

Out of respect for its age, we've left the patina but if you wish, we will buff it to look brand new for you.
In superb condition.
