DAMP

This knob controls the amount of noise attenuation by noise reduction. Turning it clockwise makes a clear difference between performance and silence, and turning it counter-clockwise makes it smoother. Turn this knob to the right to create a sharp silence time, and turn it to the left to create a more delicate performance with picking nuances.

THRESHOLD.

In REDUCTION mode, start with this knob turned fully left and turn it clockwise until no noise is heard. In GATE mode, turn the knob clockwise from fully clockwise until you hear a sharp attack and a tight release.

DECAY

This knob controls the decay time of the sound when noise reduction starts. The more you turn this knob to the right, the longer the decay time. If you start out by turning the knob all the way to the left, and if you find that the end of the sound is unnatural, you can gradually turn the knob to the right to adjust the decay time to a smoother level.

MODE

REDUCTION

This is a highly versatile mode. This mode naturally eliminates unwanted noise while maintaining the playing comfort of any sound and playing technique. Long notes can be played without unnatural shaking even with low output pickups.

Fat GATE

This mode controls the opening and closing of the gate at ultra-high speed. While maintaining an extremely sharp attack, it can be instantly quieted down when you stop playing.

This mode is ideal for modern styles such as riff playing that emphasizes sharpness with a deeply distorted sound, slaps that require a contoured attack, and tapping techniques.

MUTE

MUTE is a mode that shuts off all signals while the effect is on. When the effect is bypassed, the REDUCTION and GATE modes provide noise reduction.
