NOS! Vintage White Cotton Lace Christmas “Noel” Tablecloth USA Made 70”x126”

This listing is for one (1) vintage Nottingham Lace ‘Noel’ tablecloth made by the Scranton Lace Company.  These high-quality Christmas lace table coverings are new old stock having been in storage for the past 20+ years and come in the original packaging.  Featuring 100% wrinkle-free, soil-release cotton, these vintage lace tablecloths are new and in very good, unused condition.

These vintage lace tablecloths were woven on the original Victorian looms of the Scranton Lace Company located in Scranton Pennsylvania.   Established in 1897, the Scranton Lace Company was internationally known for producing the highest quality Nottingham Lace.  Twelve massive Jacquard looms were imported from Birmingham, England in the late 1800’s and the factory in Scranton was built around the 20-ton machines.  Employing upwards of 1200 people at its prime, Scranton Lace ceased production in 2002.  If you have watched the show “The Office”, the opening scene features the clocktower from the Scranton Lace factory.  In addition to Nottingham lace, the company also produced napkins, tablecloths, valances, and curtains along with other lace items.

I purchased this and other lace table coverings and doilies at an auction of over 10,000 pieces of Scranton Lace items.  These were some of the last pieces produced at the factory before it closed over 20 years ago as well as old inventory.  I have carefully inspected each package and will only send you items in pristine, like new condition.  Here is your opportunity to own one of these beautiful clean vintage American made lace table coverings, perfect for your Christmas celebrations!
