The set is called the, Defenders of Freedom , a proof coin is mounted on a unique custom folder with a quote by President John F. Kennedy, the U.S. Army motto and a replica dog tag on a miniature chain.
The commemorative coins are composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. Their reverse design features the US Army Infantry’s branch insignia, which is two rifles crossed. Their obverse design depicts a modern Infantry soldier charging forward on rocky ground. His rifle is in one hand, and he is beckoning, "Follow Me", the Infantry’s motto, with the other hand.
