This Dallas Cowboys game issued cleat features a custom painted Dallas skyline design, complete with the iconic N Star symbol. Cleat was made by Nike, and then custom painted. It was purchased directly from the Dallas Cowboys. I do not know the reason for the painted cleat, but I would guess it was a sample for players to view or a sample for the My Cleat My Cause. Different artists are utilized and I’m sure someone was showing off their talents hoping to land a gig for certain players. Whatever the reason it’s a 1/1 piece of Cowboys art.
