Up For Your Consideration is A Very Nice Conn 8D M Series Nickel Silver Double French Horn. Elkhart Indiana Baby! Before any major work was done to the horn, the horn was taken to Paul Navarro to reseat the valves. Paul did a remarkable job with the valves and the horn plays very nicely. The lacquer was removed and the horn was a given a very light brushed finish. The horn had some dents taken out and was given a thorough inspection. All of the braces are secure, all of the tuning slides pull freely, and the valves are fast and responsive with good compression. A brand new George McCracken lead pipe was installed by Fred Williams. To top off the cool factor of this M Series Elkhart Indiana Double French Horn, I went with the coolest guy in the musical instrument business and installed a Miles O'Malley Bell on this monster horn. I have to call it a monster horn because Miles O'Malley bells makes super tough bells. This is a thicker bell that most people fall in love with after they play it! The horn comes with a nice case. There are some minor dings, signs of previous dent work, and other signs of character on the tail of the horn. Please check out the pictures for further clarification of condition.
