Description

Rare Lake Placid Blue model with large head that attracts Strat fans with its aggressive looks is in stock!

The body is made of carefully selected lightweight alder, ply in center with 2pcs. Urethane body finish. The large head and "Lake Placid Blue," which is a representative Fender blue color, give it a special presence. The neck is made of selected maple and rosewood rounded to Quartersawn, just like a Custom Shop model. The neck shape is "1969 "U"". The neck shape is not too thick, but not too thin either, so it can be accepted by many players. The fret size is "Narrow Jumbo" and the fretboard radius is 9.5", which provides high playability and a modern feel. The urethane finish on the neck is also a must. The pickups are Custom Shop Fat '60s Single-Coil Strat. It has a high output and fat sound that matches the modern sound. The center pickup is a "reverse wound/reverse polarity" pickup, which reduces noise during half-tone. As for the controls, the front and center tone controls are integrated, while the rear pickup has its own tone control. This allows for a variety of sounds that were not available on vintage Strats, expanding the player's expressive capabilities.

The body has been overall reliced, and the scratches are indistinguishable from those that have been caused by use. There are slight picking scratches on the pickguard. There are no other noticeable signs of use. There is no damage to the back of the neck and no noticeable use on the saddle area on the bass string side of the bridge, from which we judge that there is little use.

The neck condition is fine, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned and adjusted in the direction to tighten. There are no string marks on the frets and about 90% of the strings are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

Overall, the guitar is in good condition with little signs of use. The sound is a little hot and has a moderately thick tone with an actual measurement of about 6.5k for each PU. The sound is a little hot and has a moderately fat tone. The looks are traditional, but the controls are highly functional, and the sound is designed to be a little more modern.

The truss rod can be adjusted in the direction of tightening or loosening, and can still be turned in the direction of tightening.
