Small 5 x 2 inches "Ladie's cover" franked with a 3c Washington with target cancel postmarked New Haven CT and addressed care of Messrs. Le Moyne + Bell New York.  Very nice, intact red wax seal with letter "M" on back.  Cover was cut open on right side.  Small tear in lower flap.
