Antique Bronze Ceiling Light Fixture

Description & Details

This is an antique bronze (?) ceiling light fixture.  It was removed from a ceiling in a house built in the 1880’s, although it is believed that this fixture was probably installed in early 1900’s.

Please examine photos for detail.

I am selling this for a retired nurse.  Neither of us are absolutely sure that it is bronze, but its weight and color suggest that it is.  Photos and description of similar fixtures suggest that it might be copper or “stamped tin,” but it cannot be verified.  Please exercise your own judgement in buying.

Ther center features threads for installing the appropriate light socket.  There are two holes for attaching with screws to the ceiling.

Other details:

·     Base diameter: Approx. 7”

·     Height in center: Approx. 3”

·     Weight: 2+ lbs.

Due to the fairly high cost of shipping, I am discounting the price to make this affordable.
