This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA MSFC Aerospace Engineer that was part of ABMA and NASA working with Wernher von Braun on the pioneering Rocket Team. Mr. Jerry Thomson was ultimately responsible for the development and Testing of the "H1", J2 and F1 Rocket Engines and eventually put in charge of the Shuttle "SSME" development in 1968. Lastly from 1971-86 he served as Chief Engineer for the Space Shuttle Main Engine where he helped design the RS-25. This listing is for a TELEDYNE BROWN/NASA Marshall Space Flight Center SPACE SHUTTLE INDEXABLE FACE MILL CUTTER HEAD with 7 Teeth. Details printed on the cutter are below:
This originally had a NASA/TELEDYNE embossed quartz clock inside it that was given to Mr. Thompson as an award (the clock was removed because of damage from storage).
