- No modifications are required during assembly, easy and perfect adaptation.
Whether it is to prepare or adjust a setting on your motorcycle on a power bench, or to reduce or even eliminate the detonations coming out of your exhaust when downshifting, you may have to remove the original smog system of your motorcycle.
But suppressing your PAIR system will also allow you to : Take much less space in the engine compartment and allow a significant reduction of your motorcycle’s weight, Get a more accurate air/fuel ratio (e.g. useful when making adjustments on a dynometer or power bench via a Power Commander), Get more power and a smoother running engine at lower speeds (depending on the motorcycle's model).
In short, the advantages of removing the PAIR system on your machine are numerous, as you can see.
Concerning the installation of these plates :
Until a few years ago, you would have had to build up your own covers with the means at hand in order to achieve this, a process that could clearly seem risky. But these dark times are over, and now there is nothing easier to do thanks to this pair of specific plates !
Indeed, you just have to install this cover on the hole of the cylinder head cover (after removing the old valve caps from it), plug the rubber cap on the air box, and it's done!
