Mainframe's sample route reduction can be set from 48 KHz to 110 KHz. The sample rate is the number of times an analog incoming sample or snapshot is taken per second. For example, the sample rate of a CD is 44.1 kHz, which means that the original analog source is sampled 44,100 times per second.

Lower sample rates degrade audio quality and introduce aliasing, and Mainframe's sample rate has the breadth to produce sounds that range from the exact sound of the input to very difficult to recognize.

It also has a bit crash function that ranges from 24 bits to 1 bit. The higher the bit depth, the more accurate the dynamic range and the more the sound is creatively degraded back to the "old school" sound we all love.
