This gorgeous HANDPAINTED and HANDCARVED hinged bangle is brought to you by none other than the amazingly talented Alexis Bittar. If you are not familiar with his work, he was the very first person to hand carve Lucite into jewelry, and since that time he has become unstoppable in the jewelry world. The stars of this piece are the gorgeous purple and white painted flowers that create a striking contrast against the darkness of the black Lucite. On each side of the piece are ruthenium (scratch resistant and tarnish resistant cousin of platinum with a color similar to gunmetal) tone spikes and studs that frame the magnetic closure and side hinge. Simply pull the sides apart for an easy way to add instant edginess to any look.
