A very nice pair of recovered

World War Two

'German Occupation of Jersey'

related personal items in the shape of a small

Decontamination Stick

together with a

Decontamination Bottle

as issued to Wehrmacht troops

garrisoning the British Channel Islands

between 1940 and 1945.

Both manufactured in brown bakelite,

and carried in the bread-bag or inner tunic-bandage pocket,

 the stick measures approx 3" x 1" x.5"

whilst the bottle is approx. 3.75" x 2.5".

There is a clear date stamping of

1941

and manufacturer's logo gbj on the stick,

whilst the bottle has on the base a similar manufacturer's code

ggh and 1942

Acquired from a small batch recovered

from the war-time German tunnels in The Channel Islands.
