"SMENA SYMBOL" is a Soviet scale camera produced by the LOMO association (Three Orders of Lenin Leningrad Optical and Mechanical Association named after V. I. Lenin) in 1971-1991.

It differed from previous “SMENA” by an optical viewfinder, a release button located on the shutter in the lens frame, the presence of a combined shutter cocking and film rewind and a “roulette” type rewind handle.

In the 1980s, on the basis of Smena-Symbol, restyled modifications Smena-19 and Smena-20 were developed and produced.
