It is a dual mono amplifier, each channel having its own independent power supply. While it could be considered as a 'scaled down' version of the A370.2, with 60% of the larger amp's output capacity, the P270-2 is a powerful amplifier in its own right, with a combination of low feedback circuit topography, generous power supply and strong bias into Class A. Embracing new technologies designs as well as developing more traditional methods for even greater performance, the Musical Fidelity P270-2 has come to known to produce smooth, authentic and musical sound with natural qualities. Using the same front-end circuitry as the SA470, the power amplifier offers dramatic imaging, sweetness, power delivery and bass end performance.
