Charge development:

The 7.62x25mm Tokarev is a pistol cartridge that was developed in the Soviet Union in the 1920s. Its creation was related to the need to modernize military high-performance ammunition for use in pistols. This cartridge was specially designed for the Tokarev TT-33 pistol, which was the standard military sidearm of the Red Army during World War II. It is very similar to the 7.63 Mauser cartridge

The 7.62x25mm Tokarev stood out for its high muzzle velocity and effectiveness at medium ranges. It also had the ability to penetrate a light ballistic vest, which was innovative at the time. It was used not only by the military, but also by the police and civilians.

Laboratory and construction of the hub:

The 7.62x25mm Tokarev cartridge is characterized by the use of smokeless powder and a brass cartridge case. Dust testing takes place with an emphasis on achieving optimal ballistic properties, which ensures accuracy and reliability of shooting. In the vast majority of production types, it is fitted with an FMJ bullet with a lead or steel core.
