Our sofas are built to last. We see every piece as a unique handmade work of art, meticulously produced by master craftsmen to the highest standards.

These are not cheaply made sofas from plywood/chip-wood or low quality materials. Please understand you get what you pay for. We bring you the highest possible quality materials and workmanship at this price point. We solely concentrate on producing fine sofas, a well built sofa doesn't come cheap. However we manage to bring the prices down by cutting costs such as running a showroom and warehousing.

How to build a sofa that lasts:

Only "kiln-dried" hardwood for the frame: Soft or moist wood can bend and break easily, while knotted wood is prone to cracks. Any regular dried wood will not do. For a high quality frame you need Klin-Dried.

Reinforce joints: All joints are glued, dowelled, and screwed.

Strengthen the corners: Solid wooden corner blocks for all corners.

Hand installed springs: Hand installed spring system for unsurpassed comfort and longevity. We have all been there, cheaply made seat support that starts sinking after a short while. We use quality springs and ensure each and every one is tied and secured perfectly.

Goose down feather: The ultimate in comfort. Part goose down (or no feather if you so wish) and part Foam ensures there is no sinking in as oppose to a full goose down feather seat. Since the feather is supported by high density foam directly below it. If you prefer your seats extra firm please let us know, so that we do not use goose down. PLEASE NOTE: This option is only available for cushion seats, we cannot use goose down for buttoned seats.

High-density foam cushions: No compromises here, only the best quality will do. Long life high density foam.

Fully Handmade: Upholstered and buttoned by hand. Every nail and every screw has been done by a professional craftsman. No automated robots, no mass produced furniture.

Solid wood bun-feet: No plywood or chip-wood. We only use the best quality solid wood for the bun-feet.

Our Fabrics

All our fabrics have been specially sourced based on quality, feel and longevity. All velvet fabrics have passed a "100 thousand" rubdown test, while all the cotton mix are "75 thousand".

Our Leathers

We only use the finest genuine leather for our leather sofas. No faux, PU or bonded leather. You can choose from a range of different colours and textures. If you have certain requirements, we can source the leather through our network of professional tanneries.

Hand Antiqued Leather

The attractiveness of a classic chesterfield comes from its historic charm and aristocratic elegance. Our range of upholstery in Antiqued leather is no exception. The hide is dyed and pre-aged for a number of months. It is only sent to the workshop once the leather craftsman is satisfied with the results. The hide will then go through the antiquing process, which is achieved by gently rubbing away the top coat and add definition to patterns. Finally a coat of sealant is applied, providing a mellow lustre finish and long lasting protection. This process gives our Chesterfield collection the classic character and warmth that is synonymous with this timeless piece of furniture.

There is nothing worst than seeing a sofa lose its original feel within after a short period of time. Purchasing furniture is an important part of any family's expenditure. Therefore we would want to buy furniture that lasts. If looked after, our sofas will are built to last, we would like to think you can hand them down to family members when you upgrade, not discard them. After a solid frame, we pay special attention to the seats, as they are the first part of a sofa that start to deteriorate. We ensure there is adequate support provided by the frame and the fixtures that contain the seating support, and of course we use the a certain quality of springs to ensure long lasting comfort.

Returns

We offer a 30 days money back guarantee within which, for what ever reason, you may return your item for a full refund (excluding P&P costs) - returned postage must be paid for by the buyer. Please note that the item must be returned to us in the condition that it was sent out in, along with the correct packaging, so that we can sell it again. If an item is not returned to us in the original condition then we reserve the right not to issue a full refund. If an item appears to be damaged when received. either refuse delivery or sign for it as damaged goods.

Important Information

When viewing a photo on a screen, the colours can never be reproduced 100% accurately. This is due to a number of factors such as the lighting used whilst taking the photos, your screen resolution, the device you are using to view this page (i.e. PC, Laptop, Mobile), and so on. Therefore you should allow some discrepancy from the colours you see on the screen to real life. We offer free sample swatches so that you can see the colour in person. Since every piece is made by hand, the measurements given are approximate and may vary by up to 10cm.

Delivery

Please note, we do not inflate our sofa prices to cover delivery costs. This is why our delivery prices reflect what is actually charged. The delivery is a "one man delivery" to the curbside and the delivery man will need help unloading the sofas.

2 Man delivery to the room of choice is available upon request and will carry a surcharge. Please contact us.

The delivery can take place any time between 8am and 8pm. We will need a contact phone number, preferably a mobile so that the courier can be in touch with you. If the courier is not able to contact you on the delivery date, they will not deliver.

The following postcodes carry a surcharge that must be paid on top of the delivery cost you can see on this listing (there may be more post codes affected at different times of the year, please check before placing an order).
