I was told that this badge topper was used for preparing a display for the elite US Marshals Service “Operation Orange Crush” Violent Fugitive Warrant Roundup in 2008.  This is the silver plated version and measures about 5/8in tall x 2.25in long.

The SRT piece was affixed to a badge on a plaque or embedded in lucite.
