This is a Chinese lacquer box with silver wire inlay depicting horses.  I believe it can be dated from around the 1920's.  It measures 5" X 4" X 1-1/2" tall (with the lid on) inside measurement 3-1/4" X 4-1/4" and is in very good condition with no damage - only a few marks of wear on the bottom from storage.  Horses are highly revered in the Chinese culture and this is an unusual piece.  Any questions, please email.  Thanks!
