These mugs were made by the H.F. COORS COMPANY. Here is a little background about them: The H. F. Coors Pottery was founded at Inglewood, Calif. in 1925 by Herman Coors, the third son of Adolph Coors. Herman had worked with his father and two brothers during the early years of the Herold China and Pottery Co. and, in 1916, he became manager of the plant. The H. F. Coors Pottery did not make chemical porcelain but produced many other items: wall tile, faucet handles, shower heads, plumbing fixtures, doll heads and commercial pottery for the hotel and institutional market. The most typical marks are "H. F. COORS INGLEWOOD CALIF," "CHEFSWARE," "COORSITE," and "ALOX." The pottery was still in operation in the late 1980s.
