A genuine antique map of what is now parts of France, Belgium and the Netherlands, etc.

Published in 1648 by the distinguished French cartographer, Nicholas Sanson. With much detail, and attractive handcolouring, a fine 17th century map.

Size: the sheet measures approx. 57cms x 42cms.

Condition: The margins of the two sides, left and right, are folded back, not affecting the map itself. Slightly ragged along the bottom. Handcolouring a little blotchy in the sea area, otherwise good. If you hold the map up to the light you can see scuffing and small holes, but these are virtually invisible from the front. Please study my photographs.
