Mustard Tender Green - 100+ Heirloom Seeds

Tendergreen is a heavy producer that is a cross between mustard and spinach. This is one of the better varieties of greens with its mild flavour, and the glossy green leaves can be used fresh or cooked. This plant is suitable for growing in containers and is drought resistant. It can be harvested 40 days after sowing.

Mustard greens originated near the Himalayan region of northern India, where they have been growing for thousands of years. Chinese, Japanese, and African cuisine also make use of this peppery vegetable. Though not particularly well known in most parts of the United States, mustard greens are a traditional part of the culture in the southern region.

Propagation notes will be supplied with a seed packet.
