The Custom Shop division, assembled by Fender's elite team of builders, is the premier division that designs and builds guitars based on the concept of reproducing early Fender models, mainly from the 50s and 60s.

This is a 2001 USED 1963 Telecaster NOS (Candy Apple Red), a New Old Stock spec of the '63 Telecaster spec.

Rounded rosewood fingerboard 1963 specs in Candy Apple Red. The neck and body are stamped RELIC, but the certificate of authenticity states NOS.

The rosewood fretboard has a thick low-mid tone, and the tone control can be used to create a wide range of sounds, from trebly to mellow tones.

The body has many scratches and dents due to the fact that it has been over 20 years since it was made. The frets have been fretted in the past, and there is no sign of fret wear. The neck is not warped and the truss rod is in good condition. The case comes with a dedicated hard case.
