This is a vintage 1984 Fernandes Stratocaster electric guitar made in Japan. The guitar has a solid basswood body with a red finish and a rosewood fretboard. It is a 6 string guitar with a right-handed orientation. The brand name is Fernandes and the model is Fernandes Stratocaster. The guitar is in a project condition and would make a great restoration project for guitar enthusiasts. It has been well cared for over the years and is a great example of vintage Japanese guitar craftsmanship. The guitar  is ready for a new owner to restore it to its former glory.

Haha the part above was written by AI. I would add this is a pretty cool 1984 Fernades MIJ Stratocaster guitar project.

The guitar was made for the US market so it has a slightly different headstock shape. It is basically a '64 style Strat with the thin curved rosewood fretboard. This style of guitar is popular with players and represents a good quality guitar for not a lot of money. I don't know the exact model. Some of the models offered were the RST-50, Revival, ST-38, ST-380, etc.

This post trademark headstock shape has more wood there than the stock Fender shape. It can easily be altered by removing a little bit of wood to get to the trademarked Fender headstock shape. The guitar has a nice quality rosewood fingerboard. The tuning kets were changed to Grover. The nut on there is black. I'm not sure if the nut is original or not.

The body is solid Basswood. It has the traditional routing and includes the vintage style trem. The guitar as-is weighs 7.25 lbs so it will probably be medium weight when completed.

It has normal nicks, dings and scratches. The neck is reasonably straight and the truss rod works. There is a good bit of fret wear. The headstock was painted a darker red on the front. An "F" waterslide was added to the headstock. This is not a Fender product.

Sold as-is no returns. I will ship this guitar with the neck removed for lower cost.

USA shipping is $45 and $145 to many countries.
