(*)  Per international transportation law, the Li-Ion batteries must be equipped in the device during air shipment.  Thus we physically install a Li-Ion battery into the camera body before the camera is shipped.  Note that there are some countries where the import of the Li-Ion batteries is banned.  If your shipping address is one of these countries, we will remove the battery out of the kit.  In this instance, we will NOT compensate you for the battery, not offering a partial refund or any replacements.
