Based on the 1980s children's book written by H.R.H. The Prince Of Wales, The Legend of Lochnagar is the charming, funny and gently moral tale of the old man of Lochnagar. This film stars H.R.H. Prince Charles himself in live action segments which bookend the programme and also features the vocal talents of Robbie Coltrane as the Old Man, Chris Barrie (Red Dwarf, Britta's Empire) and Hannah Gordon (My Wife Next Door, Goodbye Mr Kent), and is the work of Cardiff's Dave Edwards Studio, producers of the internationally renowned SuperTed.
