These mounting brackets are made specifically for mounting STEDI ROCK LIGHTS (Gen 2) on the side rails of your ROLA Titan platform. These sturdy mounts can be installed/uninstalled in seconds, making it ideal for both permanent and on-the-spot installation.

3D Printed using Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate (ASA) thermoplastic, this type of plastic is expensive, but made to last.

UV Resistant: ASA is highly resistant to UV rays, ensuring that it won't degrade or weaken over time when exposed to sunlight.
High Impact Resistance: Designed to withstand the rigors of outdoor use, our mount offers exceptional durability and longevity.
High-Temperature Resistance: ASA is one of the few thermoplastics that are able to withstand temperatures of up to 100 degrees Celsius.

The mounts are matched with stainless steel screws making sure that it is mostly suited for the outdoors.

  1. Regular Cleaning:
    • Clean the mount regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris. This simple step helps maintain its appearance and functionality.
  2. Water-Repellent Coating for Outdoor Use:
    • If you're fitting the mount permanently outdoors, consider spraying it with water-repellent paint. While the mount is perfectly fine getting wet, the ridges of the 3D printed part can accumulate water and dirt. A coat of paint can significantly reduce your cleaning efforts.
  3. Temperature Considerations:
    • Avoid installing the mount during periods of intense heat. The plastic is sun-resistant, but the aluminum platform of the roof rack can heat up beyond 120 degrees, potentially causing the mount to deform. Remember, it's a thermoplastic, so you can reshape it with a heat gun if needed, but preventing deformation is always preferable.
  4. Handling Solvents:
    • Be cautious with solvents. Avoid contact with ketone solvents like acetone and MEK. Isopropyl alcohol can be used for cleaning, but ensure it's not left to soak on the mount.
  5. Mindful of Sun Exposure:
    • Although made from UV-resistant ASA, prolonged sunlight can still affect the mount. Park in shade when possible and consider repainting for extra UV protection.
  6. Regular Inspections and Careful Handling:
    • Periodically check to ensure the mount is securely attached, especially after driving on rough terrain. Handle the mount gently during installation and removal, and avoid using it for non-compatible products.
  7. Proper Storage:
    • If storing the mount for an extended period, keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
