This is a popular 1960 Stratocaster in another popular color, Fiesta Red.
The combination of Gold Hardware gives it a gorgeous look.
In addition, the previous owner replaced the tortoiseshell guard, giving it an even more unique look.
When replacing the pickguard, the pickguard has different screw positions between the front pickup and the center pickup, so the pickguard has to be drilled separately.
Also, there are some chips around the pickguard retaining screws.
The pick guard itself seems to have been slightly adhered to the protective film, and you can see the marks from when it was peeled off.
Also, the head top has had the gloss removed.
Usually, NOS guitars have a gloss top, but this one has a semi-gloss finish, which is rare.
The neck back has probably been played from the semi-gloss finish and is starting to shine.
The spec sheet does not mention it, but we checked with the maker, and there was no history of processing such as semi-gloss to semi-gloss finish.
The neck shape is 60's Oval "C" with a standard grip and a standard neck thickness of .790"-.930". The grip is relatively thin among traditional style grips.
The body is made of ash, and the slapboard/ash combination has a crisper range than the alder combination.
