A traditional lineup with alder body and 1-piece maple neck. This model has one of the established sound of Strat. The sound is different from the ash body '54 style, and has a fuller mid-range sound. The pickups are Fender USA Custom Shop's famous "Texas Special" pickups, which produce a vintage tone with a fat feel. The combination of the fat but penetrating sound of the alder body and the tight sound of the maple neck are the features of this spec. This lineup features an impressive old candy apple red color with a deep, austere hue. The richness of color variation is another attraction of Fender Japan.
The condition of this guitar is as follows: There are some dents on the top, sides, and back of the body, some minor scratches and scuffs, and some parts are dull and rusty. The neck is in good condition, and there are no dents or dings, and about 70% of the frets are left. The pickguard, pickup covers, and even the back panel have been replaced with black for a cool look, and the fat, bouncy sound of the TEXAS SPECIAL and Alder is irresistible! Don't miss it!
