This model is a cutaway model of D40, one of Guild's representative models.
The serial number suggests that it was made in 1990.

The pegs have been replaced and the screw holes have been filled in.

The distortion (bulging) of the entire body top has been adjusted as much as possible.
The bridge was peeled off, and a hole was drilled in the bottom of the bridge, which has been filled in.
The holes were through the body as well, and each hole has been filled.
The top of the body was cracked vertically from the sound hole to the bottom of the book match part of the top, and from the height of the bridge to the bottom of the top first string side, so the cracks were patched from the inside and painted to prevent cracks.
The nut and saddle were newly made from cow bone.
The frets have been refretted.
The neck is almost straight after adjustment with a heater, and the string height is about 2.5mm on the 6th string side and about 2.0mm on the 1st string side with a light gauge.
The guitar has a pleasant jerky feel, a strong sharpness, and a persistent sustain that is typical of Guild guitars.
In addition, it has the withered nuance of a vintage guitar and a deep sound that has lost some of its solidity.
