This DAS Harvest Moon run is one of the most successful DAS marble runs since the inception of the company for a number of reasons. The sheer variety of marble families are beyond the imagination...more than a dozen distinct families of marbles in the Harvest Moon run. Also, the coverage of the marbles in the run is typically very good. There was a generous application of gold lutz dusting and gold lutz chunks to many marbles in this run. There are a few guinea marbles with confetti sprinkles from this run, also. See below for a description of this particular marble.
This special marble has a rather thick gold chain shown in the very first picture. The flash built into the Canon Rebel DSLR camera tends to occasionally wash out the features and that is exactly what happened here with the gold chain. So, I took a variety of pictures with and without flash with the hope of showing the details more clearly. I hope this worked to your satisfaction. The ivory base glass is a nice contract for this gold chain as well as the thin oxblood swirl curled around the diameter of the marble. There is some fine touches of orange, yellow and green aventurine flakes, too. One other interesting feature of this marble: it seems to have a fat drizzle...can you see it? It might be too fat to characterize as an official drizzle, so how about we call it a "psuedo-drizzle"?
I try my best to take high resolution pictures with flash to show exactly what you are getting. I try to rotate the marble to give multiple views. I use a Canon Rebel DSLR camera with flash to shown as much of the fine details as possible. This marble was manufactured using the 3/4" machine and the size of this particular marble is 0.711" in diameter as measured by electronic calipers.
