These are hard to find, and often come onto eBay once in many years, it would seem. 25 inches to mile, they are the most detailed of OS maps and invaluable for local history. Covers Standen near East Grinstead in East Sussex. This map shows the area before the building of Weir Wood Reservoir and it certainly seems a possibility that they were used for planning the reservoir - see the other maps I have on sale of nearby areas. This one is in slightly tatty condition in places, and will be supplied rolled neatly in a tube. It has clearly been used for practical purposes and there are some markings on the map border and even some grubby handprints on the back. Postage and packaging £5.50 due to the length.
