Purpose: to avoid the sound of drums and scrubbing over guitar bass or other musical instruments
The brush is mainly used in country, folk, alternative, popular, new century classic music, etc
In addition to beating the drum with a drum stick, the more commonly used method of brushing is shown here:
(1) circular method: the left hand is in the clockwise direction, and the right hand brush against the drum in a counterclockwise direction, resulting in the frictional sound "sand and sand". (see figure A)
(2) concave method: from the starting point of figure B, according to the tempo of the play, on the drum, follow the concave line. (see figure B)
